The Institute got notified vide notification No. EDN(TE)A(1)06/2007 dated 17-08-2007.
The Institute started its first session w.e.f. August, 2007 in a rented building with three notified trades as Electrician, Pump Operator cum Mechanic and Mechanic communication Equipment Maintenance with one unit each in each trade.
The Institution was shifted to its own Govt. building on 17th January, 2015 consisting of three Floors with total of 2417 sq meter built up area and 2000 sq. meter (approx.) open area, having sufficient space for the existing and future trades.
The two trades viz Fitter and Mechanic Motor Vehicle were introduced in the year August, 2015 along with already running POCM and Electrician trades .
